GRI Technologies is a partnership of capable, professional individuals working together to develop exciting new graphics applications centered around GIS/cartography and the internet.
Dan Bartholic
Chief Executive
Mr. Bartholic is a founding partner in GRI Technologies and functions
as it's CEO. Mr Bartholic brings 20 years of public sector Civil
Engineering Design experience to GRI Technologies. Dan is a Registered
Civil Engineer, concentrating in a municipal engineering setting. He
is experienced in using information systems to collect, store and
disseminate information used in a day to day operating environment. Dan
has an in-depth knowledge of database structures, manipulations, and
large-scale GIS servers, he is most valued for his business insight,
and managerial qualities. Dan has presented numerous workshops on
Asset Management.
Mr. Bartholic performs the visioning, business management, and client relation functions for GRI Technologies. More importantly, he acts as the vital interface between the highly technical systems & software world, and the world of the Client's needs & desires. Mr. Bartholic's experience in the Civil Engineering community allows him to see how sophisticated technologies can be applied in the down to earth world of operations.

Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Basques is a founding partner in GRI Technologies and functions
as it's Chief Technology Officer. Bob manages the technical aspects
of projects, coordinating customers, contractors and suppliers so the
projects run smoothly.In addition to fifteen years of experience in a civil design and planning environment, Bob has a very broad hands-on knowledge of applying software technologies to technical projects. He has concentrated on component oriented server configurations which work with a multitude of applications ranging from AutoCAD to simple browsers. Bob frequently instructs classes on subjects ranging from Internet Security to CAD applications.
Mr. Basques brings a wealth of experience in developing numerous cross application integration packages to leverage multiple technologies. Examples of this include extensive work using several applications to bring GIS information delivery capabilities to a web browser environment.

Development Director
Mr. Bennett is a founding partner in GRI Technologies and functions as
it's Development Director. Richard has spent the last 10 years as
an independent software developer specializing in Internet
applications. He is actively involved in various open-source projects
and communities. Within GRI Technologies, Richard performs a
great deal of the R&D, giving special emphasis on accessibility and
standards compliance. He is continiously investigating new and
emerging technologies, to ensure GRI Technologies products are easy to
use, reliable, and among the most advanced available.
Richard is actively involved in various open-source projects, including being a co-administrator of the DynAPI cross-browser DHTML API project. (See: www.richardinfo.com )
Taking care of most of our R&D, Richard lays special emphasis on testing new and emerging technologies, to ensure our products are among the most advanced available.
In July 2002 Mr. Bennett presented a paper on 'GPS tracking using SVG' at the ETH University of Zurich, Switzerland. This paper was published in the October/November 2002 issue of Geoinformatics magazine, and is also available in our [ Demos ] section.
